Position Overview

As an experienced VP of Marketing, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. The VP of Marketing will serve as a member of the executive team and partner closely with our Sales, Technical and Operations teams. You will build a comprehensive marketing strategy and oversee the company’s performance and creativity in a fast-paced, high-touch, Private Equity backed organization. We’re looking for a self-starter that has a vision to drive and scale our company during our rapid expansion.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of our executive team, collaborating closely with our Sales, Technical, and Operations teams to develop a comprehensive marketing, sales, and growth strategy.
  • Recruit, lead, and motivate a high-performing marketing organization, including Growth, Brand, Communications, Social, Content, Design, and Tradeshow coordination.
  • Partner with the CBO to develop, own and drive our strategic narrative and positioning within the CDMO market.
  • Develop our companies go-to-market strategy for new and existing services and features in partnership with Product and Sales.
  • Define and deliver reporting to the leadership team and BOD on marketing OKR’s, KPI’s, and project outcomes.
  • Refine lead nurture process, lead capture and tracking within CRM (salesforce.com)
  • Participate in executive meetings to drive strategy and alignment across the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree required
  • 15+ years of Marketing Leadership experience within high-growth healthcare environments.
  • Contract service experience from either a CDMO or an adjacent pharma services area
  • History of increasing Marketing Responsibility throughout their career
  • Integration of one brand into another
  • Experience- digital transformation
  • Broad based executive marketing experience, to include management brand development, sales collateral development, market and competitive analysis, communications, and public relations.
  • Track record of driving marketing campaigns that tangibly increased the number of qualified leads.
  • Direct experience leading successful marketing campaigns aimed at major clients/business segments. The ability to speak at a granular level about the ROI of those campaigns.
  • Passionate and experienced people leader and team builder.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully creating and launching marketing and GTM strategy across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated experience using effective communications and marketing as a strategic lever for influencing the market.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills — can motivate, support, and lead staff; outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and written communication.
  • Intellectually agile — a strategic thinker who can think deeply and qualitatively about business problems, breaking down issues, and presenting solutions.
