Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Sales with at least 10+ years of selling sophisticated enterprise software, with at least 3 years successfully selling into Clinical Development and R&D verticals within the life-sciences industry. The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial, high growth environment with uncapped earnings potential.

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and surrounded by the industry’s most advanced AI technology, along with top notch pre-sales and post sales teams, you will have the opportunity to help the executives at the world’s leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies to embark on a journey with Our Client to leverage ground breaking AI across their drug development processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Business Development: Cultivate and expand a strong network of contacts, building long lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. Continuously seek new opportunities for growth, upselling, and cross-selling existing accounts by cultivating a community in your respective region.

Complex Enterprise Sales Excellence: Develop and execute a results-oriented sales strategy to meet and exceed individual revenue targets. Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our solutions. Our sales campaigns are multi-month, multi- level sales campaigns that require thought leadership, trusted relationships, and value based selling.

Solutions Selling: Collaborate with internal teams to address clients’ specific business challenges. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer requirements and tailoring product offerings to meet their objectives.

Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors’ activities to maintain a competitive edge. Leverage market intelligence to position our offerings effectively and drive continuous improvement.

Customer Focus: Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and provide exceptional service and support. Proactively address customer concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in complex enterprise software solution sales with at least one successful stint of 3+ years in the life sciences industry vertical
  • Demonstrated track record of success by meeting or exceeding quota
  • Established relationships in the industry that can be leveraged
  • Proven experience selling business solutions into pharmaceutical / biotech companies with complex 4+ month sales cycle.
  • Understand how to execute on multi-level selling by leveraging the entire leadership team to engage with their counterparts at the customer.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation skills and written communication.
  • Knowledge of RWD a plus
  • A track record of working well with others (including internal product, legal, and administrative departments)
  • 40%+ travel
