Position Overview
Our client is a rapidly expanding healthcare organization with a mission to provide exceptional orthopedic and spine care. Our orthopedic service organization seeks a visionary CEO to steer us through significant growth, optimize our revenue streams, and guide us toward a strategic exit.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the expansion efforts, including opening new offices with efficient capital deployment and high ROI expectations.
- Financial Acumen: Drive revenue growth with the goal to double the company size and elevate EBITDA to the desired range, preparing the company for a potential exit.
- Business Development: Enhance the contractual framework across various service areas.
- Negotiate and maintain contracts for imaging, facilities, and physician services. Increase our client’s relationships within the legal community.
- Operational Efficiency: Address current infrastructure challenges and align organizational structure with rapid growth, ensuring streamlined operations.
- Legal and Compliance: Work closely with the General Counsel to navigate the legal intricacies of billing/coding,and regulatory compliance.
- Data Monetization: Develop strategies to leverage patient and treatment data, creating value for attorney partners and enhancing case understanding.
- Team Leadership: Attract top-tier talent, cultivate a culture of excellence, and coordinate with the COO to ensure smooth internal operations.
- Physician Recruitment and Relations: Continue to build a network of 1099 orthopedic surgeons and manage relationships with existing medical staff.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with equity holders across multiple states, manage board relations, and report to key investors.
- Private Equity: Knowledge and experience working in the private equity environment and ability to prepare and execute on a successful exit
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare.
- Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior executive role within a multi-site healthcare organization.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with a track record of scaling operations and increasing profitability.
- Prior experience working within a private equity based organization is strongly encouraged
- Expertise in contract negotiations and business development within the healthcare sector and/or legal community.
- Background in orthopedics or a related healthcare specialty is highly desirable.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Excellent strategic planning and execution skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
