Position Overview
Our client is a US-based, global Contract Research Organization (“CRO”), providing statistical programming, biostatistics, and data management services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies under Functional Service Provider (“FSP”) and project based services (PBS) models.
The Senior Vice President, Biometrics will provide leadership for growth and operational oversight for the end-to-end delivery of biometrics services—including biostatistics, statistical programming, and data management—within our PBS delivery mode quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the biometrics strategy to support corporate goals, client requirements, and regulatory expectations.
- Act as the primary biometrics liaison for sponsors and senior leadership, ensuring alignment, transparency, and trust.
- Contribute to business growth by providing biometrics expertise in proposals, bid defenses, and client engagements.
- Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across the biometrics organization.
- Strengthen client relationships to support repeat business, account expansion, and long-term partnership growth.
- Engage directly with sponsor teams to ensure clear communication, aligned expectations, and timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Development on proposals, bid defenses, and strategic account plans to drive new and organic growth.
- Represent biometrics leadership in client meetings and governance discussions, reinforcing confidence in delivery and partnership continuity
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of biometrics outputs, including datasets, tables, listings, figures (TLFs), statistical analyses, and CDISC-compliant deliverables.
- Monitor delivery performance across all studies, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Serve as final approver for critical biometrics deliverables prior to client submission
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, industry guidelines, and sponsor requirements.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to prepare for and respond to audits and inspections.
- Stay ahead of evolving biometrics trends, regulatory guidance, and innovations in data science

Key Requirements
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive biometrics experience in CROs or pharmaceutical companies, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in CDISC (SDTM/ADaM) standards, regulatory submissions, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and communication skills with a strong client-facing presence
