Matt Taitelman is a Client Partner within the physician recruitment practice at Klein Hersh International, where he works across multiple therapeutic disciplines with a focus in CNS and rare disease. Klein Hersh’s physician recruitment team has a specific focus within clinical development and medical affairs, conducting director through chief medical officer-level executive searches across a wide range of disciplines, including oncology, immunology, CNS, infectious diseases, and general medicine.
As a member of the physician recruitment team, Matt’s responsibilities include:
- Partnering with emerging biotech and global pharmaceutical companies on the recruitment of top physician talent within clinical Development and medical affairs for director through chief medical officer (CMO) positions. Typical searches include: Chief Medical Officer, Vice President of Clinical Development, Vice President of Medical Affairs, Head of Translational Medicine, Senior Medical Director, and Medical Director.
Prior to joining Klein Hersh, Matt was an attorney at a full service law firm in Philadelphia where he worked as a trial attorney litigating complex tort cases. He represented injured parties, multinational motor carriers and prominent local Philadelphia businesses in cases involving catastrophic injuries. He holds a B.S. in Biobehavioral Health from Pennsylvania State University and a J.D. from Drexel University.
