Ronald McDonald House PhiladelphiaThe Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House supports families of seriously ill children by creating a community of comfort and hope. Over the years, Klein Hersh has provided financial support to the house’s Adopt-A-Room program, Guest Chef program, Show Your Stripes campaign, Hit ‘Em for the House Golf Outing, and their annual plane pull.
PMBL Treasure Beach Youth basketball campKlein Hersh has helped support PMBL Treasure Beach (Jamaica) Youth basketball camp for the last 5 years. Over the five-day camp, held annually in late August, over 800 under-served and underprivileged rural youths (ages 5-18) participate in individual and group clinics, shooting and skills competitions, team practices, and games. The PMBL’s primary goal is to use sport for positive social change to the rural Jamaica community of Treasure Beach.With Klein Hersh’s support and financial assistance, the PMBL, can provide each camper with daily bus transportation to and from the camp, three meals each day, sneakers, socks, reversible jerseys, basketball shorts, and basketballs.
St. Jude Children’s Research HospitalKlein Hersh has provided financial support to St. Jude’s efforts to fight and treat childhood cancer.
Prader Willi FoundationPrader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a genetic disorder that occurs in approximately one out of every 15,000 births and is recognized as the most common genetic cause of life-threatening childhood obesity. Klein Hersh has provided financial support to help advance the foundation’s medical research in PWS.
