Tissue Aquisition Manager
 
My client is a global leader in tissue banking and they are continuing to grow 
 
Function:

Biospecimen Management function at was established to support the management of biological samples (i.e., planning, procurement, inventory tracking, processing, distribution, storage, use per consent, withdrawal, and destruction) used in research and development activities. This function's focus is to work with the project teams to provide solutions in procuring and managing appropriate samples.
 
Biological samples refer to types of biological or bodily fluids, tissues or plasma used in the development of new therapeutic or diagnostic products. Samples can be blood, plasma, urine, or other organic tissues that may contain disease pathogens. These samples are regulated by a number of agencies worldwide that address the consent process, collection methods, sample handling, storage and shipment regulations, and ethical and privacy concerns.

Requirements:

BS/MS in biological discipline or related field or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
 
10+ years experience in clinical trials plus 3 years experience in a significant management role, and an in-depth understanding of GCP and FDA regulations relative to specimen collections. 
 
Location:

  • San Diego, CA 
  • San Francisco, CA 

Compensation: 120K-160K
15% bonus
