My client, an emerging leader among biopharmaceutical companies, is looking for a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Developer/Administrator for their IT department.  If you have a BA/BS and you would like to be a part of a stable leader with an excellent pipeline, please read on:

Job Description:

This position will be responsible for the day to day administration of the enterprise application integration cluster (Oracle SOA Suite), and will report to Sr. Director, IT Infrastructure.  The SOA administrator will also configure endpoint connectors for applications into the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) as well as scoping and programming process rules for the integration of data between systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setup and administer a reliable Oracle SOA Suite system for various enterprise application integrations.
  • Experience in administering CFR 21 Part 11 compliant systems for FDA regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
  • Work with application owners to establish requirements for data sharing between applications.
  • Develop endpoint connectors to the SOA/ESB for various applications.
  • Program processes and triggers to automate data flow between applications.
  • Generate consolidated reports aggregating data from multiple applications.
  • Ongoing performance tuning.
  • Administer and monitor Symantec Veritas NetBackup environment.
  • Secondary Oracle Database Administration responsibilities as needed.
  • Web programming for SOA Web Services interfaces and other Intraweb programming and maintenance as required.
  • Ensures conformance with the company information systems policies and objectives.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Complies with all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications include:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Oracle Fusion Middleware experience (SOA Suite)
  • Oracle database administration experience a plus (10g and 11g)
  • Symantec Veritas NetBackup 6.5 administration experience a plus
  • FileMaker administration/development experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
