Job Description:

The Director of Commercial Solutions is responsible for defining and managing the implementation of the core commercial infrastructure required to support the first commercial product launch. This core infrastructure will be the basis for all future product launches. This ground floor opportunity is to develop a GIS team that supports sales, sales operations, managed care, marketing, medical science liaison organizations, and supply chain.

Job Responsibilities:

Be the single point of contact between the business and GIS

  • Develop integrated Business/GIS long-term plans and roadmaps
  • Defining budgets, timelines and resources needed for all Commercial Infrastructure Solutions required for launch. All activities must be tied to critical launch milestones.
  • Hire, lead, and mentor IT personnel. Determine appropriate staff required.
  • Overall program and project and team management for solutions
  • Coordinate with other GIS department in solutions expectations, timelines and design. Making it seamless/ transparent for the business community.
  • Lead ongoing business partner team meeting on a monthly basis or as needed.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to further the current environment in alignment with the Business Strategy
